A product nobody knows yet

A server heater computes and heats at the same time: the waste heat from the computing goes into the building instead of the air, so running it pays off twice. That is the core of omnivo and its biggest hurdle at once, because anyone hearing it for the first time has nothing to compare it to.

So the website had to do two things at once. Explain the principle in a few sentences without turning technical, then answer every question a planner or a developer asks before investing.

The website

We built the site along the loop omnivo sells: generate energy, store it, use the computing heat, distribute it. Start at the top and you understand the model before the first product appears.

Underneath sits the catalogue. Heat, storage, photovoltaics and energy optimisation each get their own solution page, every unit its power class and technical data, from the Casatec Mini for a single-family home to the K51 Liquid Rack 150 for district solutions. Sections still to come are labelled "coming soon" rather than ending as dead links.

The quick check

The server-heating quick check is the centrepiece of the homepage. Three inputs are enough: annual heat demand, existing PV capacity, current heating system. From those the calculator shows the estimated yearly saving and how much of the heat would be covered.

That turns an abstract technology into a number attached to your own building, and the enquiry sits exactly there. Anyone who scrolled to the result is no longer a visitor, they are a lead.

omnivo PARTNERS

omnivo does not only sell to owners, it works with the firms that plan and install. So the partner programme got its own area, sorted into the four groups meant to recognise themselves: planning, installation, development and infrastructure.

Each group first reads what is actually in it for them: qualified enquiries, product access, technical support. At the end sits a form asking for company, contact and sector, so an application arrives already sorted.
