• Bloxel has no accounts, no analytics of its own and no game servers of its own. • Your progress, settings and game history stay on your device. • The app shows a banner ad from Google AdMob. Google processes device, network and advertising data for it. • Ads are non-personalized in the current version. Bloxel does not read your device advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not ask for Apple’s tracking permission. • Google’s privacy policy and settings also apply to data Google processes.

So you can keep playing, Bloxel stores your next level, rounds played, player pacing data, the currently prepared level and your game and sound settings on your device. The app does not send this data anywhere. It may be included in your iCloud or device backups if you have them turned on; Apple’s terms apply to those. Deleting the app removes its local data.

Legal basis: providing the game you chose to use (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Bloxel is funded by ads. While you play, the app shows one non-personalized banner above the board. The current version has no personalized ads, rewarded ads or interstitial ads.

The ads come from the Google Mobile Ads SDK. For users in Switzerland, the EEA and the UK the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; elsewhere it is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google processes this data as an independent controller.

This may include in particular:

• IP address and the approximate location derived from it • Device and system details, such as model, iOS version, language and screen size • Identifiers Google assigns for this app or device • Technical information about the requested and displayed ad and aggregated measurement data • Diagnostic and performance data of the SDK

Google uses this data to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud and abuse. More at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and policies.google.com/privacy.

Bloxel currently does not ask for consent to personalized advertising because the app does not serve personalized ads and does not read the device advertising identifier (IDFA). It therefore does not use App Tracking Transparency to ask whether it may track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites.

Depending on your region, Google may provide its own privacy or consent mechanisms for serving and measuring ads. If Google shows you a choice, Google provides it and stores the choice on your device. Declining may mean that Google serves only limited or non-personalized ads. You can manage Google ad settings at myadcenter.google.com.

If the advertising or SDK scope changes, we will update this policy and add the required choices in the app.

Bloxel is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple’s privacy terms apply to downloads, updates and your Apple Account. We receive crash reports and usage data from Apple only in aggregated form, and only if you allow sharing with app developers in your iOS settings.

If you take part in a TestFlight beta, Apple shares the details from your invitation, the feedback and screenshots you send, and crash and device information with us. We use them only to improve the app and delete them once they are no longer needed for that.

Google and Apple may also process data in the USA and other countries outside Switzerland and the EEA. Transfers rely on the EU-US and Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework where the providers are certified, and on standard contractual clauses.

Bloxel is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us at the address below.

Progress and settings stay on your device until you delete the app or remove its data through iOS settings. How long Google and Apple keep their data is set out in their privacy policies.

Depending on applicable law you have the right to:

• Access your stored data • Rectify inaccurate data • Erase your data • Restrict processing • Object to processing • Withdraw consent • Data portability where applicable

We receive no game data about you, so you can remove your progress by deleting the app. For data Google processes, see your settings at myadcenter.google.com. For anything else, contact team@dibe.agency. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Switzerland: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, FDPIC).
