Picrasso Privacy Policy

Picrasso is a nonogram game for iPhone: solve a puzzle and a pixel painting appears. This policy covers the app and explains which data it involves, who processes it and which rights you have. Swiss data protection law (FADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR apply.

2. In short

• Picrasso has no accounts and no analytics of its own. We run no servers for the app and receive no data about your play. • Your progress stays on your device. • The app shows ads from Google AdMob, for which Google processes device and usage data. • In Switzerland, the EEA and the UK we ask for your consent before personalised ads, and you can change your choice in the app at any time. • The app does not ask for permission to track you across apps, so Google does not receive your iPhone’s advertising identifier (IDFA).

3. Data on your device

So you can keep playing, Picrasso stores on your iPhone: finished paintings, unfinished puzzles with their remaining brushes and hints, the painting you played last, whether you have seen the tutorial, and your settings. The app does not send this data anywhere. It may be included in your iCloud or device backups if you have them turned on; Apple’s terms apply to those.

“Profile › Remove All Progress” deletes your progress. Deleting the app removes all of its local data.

Legal basis: providing the game you chose to use (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

4. Ads through Google AdMob

Picrasso is funded by ads. While you paint, the app shows a banner ad. When you run out of brushes, you can choose to watch a video ad to get brushes back, or start the painting over instead.

The ads come from the Google Mobile Ads SDK. For users in Switzerland, the EEA and the UK the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; elsewhere it is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google processes this data as an independent controller.

This may include in particular:

• IP address and the approximate location derived from it • Device and system details (e.g. model, iOS version, language, screen size) • Identifiers Google assigns for this app or device (e.g. the identifier for vendors), but not the advertising identifier (IDFA) • Ad interactions, such as ads shown, taps and whether a video ad was watched to the end • Diagnostic and performance data of the SDK

Google uses this data to serve and measure ads, to prevent fraud and abuse and, only with your consent, to personalise ads. More at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Your consent

In Switzerland, the EEA and the UK the app shows a consent form from Google (User Messaging Platform) the first time you open it. There you decide whether Google may store and access information on your device and personalise ads. If you decline, Google shows only non-personalised or limited ads. Your choice is stored on your device.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under “Profile › Ad Privacy Choices”. Withdrawal applies from then on.

Legal basis: your consent for personalised ads and access to your device (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / Art. 31 FADP); our legitimate interest in funding a free game for serving non-personalised ads and preventing fraud (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / overriding interest under the Swiss FADP).

6. App Store and TestFlight

Picrasso is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple’s privacy terms apply to downloads, updates and your Apple Account. We receive crash reports and usage data from Apple only in aggregated form, and only if you allow sharing with app developers in your iOS settings.

If you take part in a TestFlight beta, Apple shares the details from your invitation (e.g. name and email address), the feedback and screenshots you send, and crash and device information with us. We use them only to improve the app and delete them once they are no longer needed for that.

7. International transfers

Google and Apple may also process data in the USA and other countries outside Switzerland and the EEA. Transfers rely on the EU-US and Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework where the providers are certified, and on standard contractual clauses.

8. Children

Picrasso is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us at the address below.

9. Retention

Progress and settings stay on your device until you reset them in the app or delete the app. Your ad consent choice is kept until you change it or delete the app. How long Google and Apple keep data is set out in their privacy policies.

10. Your rights

Depending on applicable law you have the right to:

• Access your stored data • Rectify inaccurate data • Erase your data • Restrict processing • Object to processing • Withdraw consent (without affecting lawfulness before withdrawal) • Data portability where applicable

We receive no game data about you, so you can delete your progress directly in the app. For data Google processes, see your settings at myadcenter.google.com. For anything else, contact team@dibe.agency. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Switzerland: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, FDPIC).

11. Changes

We update this policy when the app gains new features, services or permissions, or when the law changes. The current version is always available at /en/privacy/apps/picrasso/. Last updated: September 2026.
