Web design for SMEs: a website that brings enquiries
You have no marketing team, no webmaster and no appetite for a project that eats half a year. You need a website that explains your offer, gets found on Google and has someone looking after it afterwards.

What you get
- Site structure built around the services you actually sell
- A dedicated page for every service you want enquiries for
- Local SEO signals for your region
- Engineering, hosting and updates included
- Fixed scope and fixed price before we start
- Care after launch instead of just a final invoice
- Who it is for
- SMEs, sole traders, practices, local trades
- Included
- Strategy, design, copy, engineering, hosting
- Languages
- German and English, more on request
- Timeline
- A few days to a few weeks, depending on budget and scope
Most SME websites stopped somewhere along the way
It was built once, often fast, often cheap, often by someone in the founder’s circle. Then services were added, a location, an employee, a price changed. None of it is on the site. Someone searching today for what you do will not find you, and someone arriving through a recommendation sees a site that makes your business look smaller than it is.
That is not a design problem. A prettier version of the same site brings exactly the same number of enquiries. The problem is that the website was never given a job, or anyone to look after it.
What an SME actually needs from a website
Not more pages, the right ones. A small business does not win with a blog nobody writes. It wins because every service it sells has a page that explains that service and gets found in its region.
One page per service
Someone searching for "emergency electrician" does not want a homepage listing six services. Every service gets room, copy and its own URL.
Findable locally
Location, catchment area, opening hours and Google Business Profile belong together. We set them so they confirm each other.
Trust without a facade
Faces, references, years in business, real photos of the workshop. An SME wins with what it is, not with stock photos.
One way to get in touch, not a maze
Phone, WhatsApp or a four-field form. Whatever your customers actually use goes visibly at the top.
Why this is affordable for an SME
The usual reason a good website costs a lot is hours: research, structure, first drafts, variants, technical groundwork. Those hours run through our own AI agent workflows, in a fraction of the time the same work takes by hand.
The decisions stay with us. We review, cut, sharpen and turn it into a website that fits your business. What you notice: professional work at a price that usually buys an off-the-shelf template, and a budget that goes into what matters instead of agency hours for a first draft.
How a project runs with us
The most common reason a website project stalls is not the agency. It is the moment the business is asked for copy, images and approvals and nobody has time. So we build the process to keep that moment as small as possible.
Conversation
Half an hour: what you sell, who enquires, what goes wrong today, what budget is on the table.
Structure and quote
You get the site structure and a fixed price for it before anyone designs anything.
We write, you correct
First drafts come from us. You read and correct instead of staring at an empty document.
Build and launch
You see the site live on a preview link and comment directly on it before it goes live.
Ongoing care
After that, updates, technical maintenance and SEO checks keep running. New service, new page, no project needed.
After launch you are not on your own
A website is not a purchase, it is a piece of operating equipment. It needs updates, it collects broken links, it has to change when you drop a service or a new team member joins. And Google keeps reassessing quality, so a frozen site loses position over the years.
That is why care is part of the package here, not an emergency invoice. We watch performance, indexing, technical issues and search opportunities, and we get in touch when something needs doing, instead of waiting until you notice nobody has called in a year.
Does this sound like your project?
One short conversation is enough for us to tell you what is realistic inside your budget.
The website is the start, not the finish
A website catches the people already looking for you. Everything else makes sure there are more of them. That is why we are not a pure web shop: social media, advertising, content and automations come from the same house and carry the same message. You decide where you start, and we build it so the next step still fits.

For omnivo and Therapy Medhi we built the website: once for a product people first have to understand, once for a practice that needs appointments out of urgent searches. For MomoTime it was not a website but brand and content, because that was the bottleneck there. Every card says which work it actually was.

omnivo
omnivo builds intelligent energy systems for residential and commercial buildings, from server heating to heat pumps and storage. We built the website that makes a product needing explanation clear in a few minutes.

Common questions
We stopped publishing packages, because the price depends almost entirely on how many pages, services and locations are involved, so a package price would be either too expensive or too tight. So it runs the other way round: you tell us the budget you have, we tell you what is realistic inside it, and you get a fixed price before anyone starts designing.
The build follows your budget and scope and runs from a few days to a few weeks. A compact site for a business with one clear service can be standing in days; a presence with many service pages and two languages takes weeks. What actually drags a project out is rarely the build, it is missing copy, images and approvals. So we deliver the first drafts and you correct them instead of writing them, and approvals run through a preview link where you comment directly on the page. Two or three short rounds of feedback are enough for most projects.
Small content edits, yes, and we show you how. In practice it usually does not happen, because day-to-day work always has something more urgent. That is why we recommend the care package: you tell us what changed, we implement it. That is cheaper than a website that is out of date after two years.
If your customers find you through recommendations, SEO is an add-on. If they could find you through a search and do not, it is the cheapest channel you have: the enquiry comes from someone already looking for your service, and you pay nothing per click. For a local SME, clean service pages, a maintained Google Business Profile and patience are usually enough.
